Tough Stuff
military grade material
Rumber® is a truly remarkable product. This is a military grade material. And we mean that literally. We are currently selling to the U.S. Army for it’s grenade training ranges. Previously they had a plywood wall along the trench to keep shrapnel from flying back at the soldiers. Each day they had to rebuild 1000′ of wall. They’ve been throwing grenades at a Rumber wall for over a year now without failure. This is TOUGH STUFF.
Basically it is available in two forms:
1. Extruded lumber profiles of S4S and T&G in 2×4, 2×6 and 2×8. Colors are black, gray and brown. Smooth and high traction (buffed) surfaces.
2. Sheet goods: Thickness of 1/8″ to 1/2″; a small variety of textures. Generally 4’x8′ sheets but custom runs up to 77″ wide and 144″ long can be made.
USES:
Commercial & residential decking: Looks good, easy to clean, does not deteriorate in water or weather.
Safety Surfacing: Loading docks, boat ramps, boat docks, boardwalks, piers, working surfaces. Ski resorts, country clubs, restaurants, skating rinks.
Marine Environment: Sea-walls, landscaping timbers, fendering, docks, piers.
