School Classrooms

Castleblock pioneered the PTH flat pack construction system in Hawaii through a successful classroom project developed for a Charter School on the Big Island.

Partnering with Hawaii Academy of Arts and Science (HAAS), Castleblock designed and delivered four modern classrooms engineered for durability, efficiency, and low maintenance performance.

Following the success of the prototype project, Castleblock was selected for an expanded development phase including additional classrooms, STEAM laboratories, a theater, and a cafetorium.

Advanced Modular Methodology

Each structure is engineered using floor decks, roof decks, and heavy gauge vertical steel corner systems packed into flat strapped units for efficient transportation and rapid site deployment.

Walls are supplied separately with pre‑installed windows and doors, allowing highly efficient installation using a curtain wall methodology.

Roof & Interior Systems

Roof systems utilize triangulated trusses and welded heavy gauge steel tube framing, galvanized and powder coated for durability and low maintenance performance.

Depending on climate requirements, systems can incorporate corrugated steel roof decks, hi‑rib steel, or structural insulated roof panels complete with gutters and down piping.

Interior finishes are engineered to be clean, washable, and highly maintainable while allowing future wiring modifications without opening walls.
